Website Privacy Notice
How ATR handles personal information, project information and third-party website services.
Last updated: 20 August 2026
This notice explains ATR Building Consulting's website information-handling practices. It should be read with the Website Terms and Conditions. Privacy obligations can depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
Information We May Collect
When you contact ATR or submit a quotation or service request, information may include your name, contact details, organisation, project or property details, documents you choose to provide, billing or engagement information and records of communications.
Website Assistant
The Ask ATR website assistant is automated and rules-based. In the current website version, text entered into the assistant is processed in your browser and is not sent to ATR, stored by the assistant or sent to an external artificial-intelligence provider. Do not use the assistant to submit confidential project information, personal or sensitive information, passwords, payment details or security codes.
Forms and Project Documents
ATR's quotation and tax-depreciation forms are hosted by Monday.com. Information and files submitted through those forms are provided through that external service and may become available to authorised ATR personnel and service providers involved in handling the enquiry. Only upload information you are authorised to share. Do not submit passwords, one-time verification codes, payment-card details or internet-banking credentials.
Maps, Translation and External Services
The website may load third-party services such as Google Maps and Google Translate. When a third-party service is loaded or used, that provider may receive technical information needed to deliver the service. External services operate under their own privacy and security terms.
Why Information Is Used
Information provided to ATR may be used to respond to enquiries, understand project requirements, prepare fee proposals, deliver agreed professional services, communicate with authorised project stakeholders, administer engagements, issue invoices, maintain business and professional records, protect against fraud or misuse and meet legal or professional obligations.
Disclosure and Service Providers
ATR may disclose relevant information to employees, professional advisers, consultants, technology providers and other parties involved in providing or supporting the requested service, where authorised, reasonably necessary or legally required. Some technology providers may process or store information outside Australia depending on the service and account configuration.
Security
ATR should use reasonable technical and organisational controls appropriate to the information it holds. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure. For highly sensitive information, identity documents, banking information or other material that may create material harm if disclosed, contact ATR first to confirm an appropriate transfer method.
Retention
Information should be retained only for as long as reasonably required for the relevant enquiry, engagement, professional record-keeping, business administration or legal requirements, and then securely deleted or de-identified where appropriate.
Access and Correction
You may contact ATR to request access to, or correction of, personal information held about you. Some legal or professional exceptions may apply.
Privacy Enquiries and Complaints
Privacy questions or complaints can be sent to info@atrqs.com.au. Please describe the issue and provide enough information for ATR to identify the relevant record or interaction. ATR should investigate privacy complaints and respond within a reasonable period. Where the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) applies, additional rights and complaint pathways may also be available through the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Security Reports
If you believe you have identified a security vulnerability affecting this website or information submitted to ATR, contact info@atrqs.com.au and include only the information reasonably necessary to explain the issue. Do not send passwords, private keys, payment credentials or unrelated confidential information.
